Liquor in coke

Apparently a Muslim doctor was bewildered when he and his daughter discovered traces of

alcohol in their coke. It is against the man's religion to consume alcohol, so he had the bottle

taken to a lab for testing. They found that there was almost 1 gram of alcohol for every 100

ml of soft drink. Coca-Cola officials also had the sample tested and confirmed the presence

of alcohol. In addition the Coca-Cola Company sited a chip in the glass bottle as the problem.

They noted that air had entered the bottle and had allowed the product to ferment. Dindar

also said he was informed by management that there were traces of yeast found in the bottle.

The yeast reacted with the sugar in the drink, creating the alcoholic beverage. Yes, apparently

it was that easy. Now don't you feel like a sucker having to pay extra for a little booze in your coke?
